It’s time for UN Youth Tasmania to find fill our last position on the executive! If you’re aged 18-25 and have a passion for our division, you should seriously consider our becoming our Director of Development!
The executive is a fantastic place to either start or continue your potential volunteer work with UN Youth TAS. From running programs to getting down to the nitty gritty of how the organisation is run, executive roles are hugely rewarding and make a real difference on the programs we run.
The primary responsibility of the Director of Development is to seek out, secure and maintain external
sponsorship for UN Youth Tasmania and its events. The Director of Development will coordinate fundraising (both general appeals and specific fundraising events), manage relationships with donors/funders and potential donors/funders and create and update prospectuses and annual reports. The Director of Development should also seek out and apply for external grants for individual events and the organisation as a whole. Overall, the Director of Development should formulate and direct a long-term vision for UN Youth
Online applications have closed, but you can still run for this position during our upcoming general meeting in August. While speaking to your qualifications and experience, it is possible to circulate an application to members.
